Whether you want an introductory wine education and tasting event, a deeper dive into particular grapes, regions or styles, or you have no idea but a tasting sounds like fun, I’ll work with you to plan the perfect tasting.

First, we’ll discuss the type of event you want to have. Then, I’ll curate your wines, which you’ll purchase*. On the day of the event, I’ll bring everything that is needed for the tasting.

*NC law doesn’t allow the sale or delivery of alcohol without a retail license so I cannot purchase the wines.

About Me

Hi, I’m Fran, wine educator and owner of Sip.Stir.Go. I started exploring wines over a decade ago and what was a simple curiosity is now a full-blown passion. After a stint in a fine dining restaurant with a phenomenal wine list, formal wine education (Introductory Sommelier - Court of Master Sommeliers; Wine Spirit Education Trust Level 2 Certified with Merit) and oh so many tastings, I started Sip.Stir.Go.

I provide what I call glasses up, pinkies down wine education: highly-informative wine tastings that are also fun and without snobbery. My goal is to demystify wine by providing meaningful, relevant wine education that will enhance your appreciation and understanding of wine. From introductions to wine tasting to exploration of varietals or regions, whether you’re a connoisseur or new to wine, I can tailor a tasting to meet the needs of you and your guests.
