GO: Himalayan Range, Cary NC

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_largepv_12ccIncredibly flavorful Nepalese food is served at this nice but not fancy Cary spot. Because of Nepal’s geography the food embraces Indian as well as Chinese and Thai notes. One prime example of this mismatch are momos, a Nepalese delicacy reminiscent of a Chinese dumpling yet heartier and spiced differently. The only disappointment in my meal was the paratha which was greasy and doughy but the naan was the bread of dreams. If the only misstep is with a bread, I can be forgiving. This will now be my go-to spot when I’m wanting a delicious curry!

Tip: I like spicy food. I want a bit of tingle but not discomfort. I ordered medium here and to my taste it wasn’t spicy at all. The food was fantastic and well flavored but lacked the lip buzzing zip. If you like a bit of heat I suggest asking for medium plus or hot which is what I’ll do next time.
